a rash of home burglaries in east san jose raise eyebrows tonight, in one of the burglaries, the thieves made off with five fire ams. that was about two hours later thieves were stealing electronics from another home nearby and 1:30 in the afternoon, a woman heard someone break in her home while she was up stairs studying and she hid in a bedroom and dialed 911. the neighbors and police suspect that the thieves went looking for an opportunity. >> he said is michael home and i said you have the wrong house, and slammed the door. i had no idea he went next door. >> two teenage suspects are in custody, now more than ever, people have to know their neighbors and report any suspicious activity. >> tonight, four people are behind bars. a estranged wife is accused of are a home invasion that

targeted her husband in pittsburgh. we are in pittsburgh with the details. >> well, raj, one man is dead but the man who stabbed him is not being charged with a crime. instead, four our suspects, as you mentioned are now in police custody and being charged with murder. now, yesterday morning, at the apartment complex on the 100 block of lelan road, a man broke into one of the units carrying what police say was a replica gun, the two struggled and the resident ended up stabbing and killing the intruder. turns out the break-in was a plot designed by the wife and boyfriend, by strong arming him, they were planning to separate because of the affair she was having. >> they started this plot two weeks ago, she provided our

suspects, our additional suspect ises wi -- additional suspects keys to the residence. and the plan was put in play. when three individuals, one that is dee ceased now, attempted to burglarize this location. >> police have in custody, the wife, 28-year-old charmaine taijeron and matt parker and charles parker and jimmy salgado, the suspect that was killed was 54-year-old robert lyndsay who was a transient, but they all know each other. now according to police, charles parker, delgado and lyndsay broke in, and the survivi survi suspects are being charged with murder because someone was killed while thebu break in was being committed. it's a big heist worth

network and what you find is the cloud cover is advanced all over the bay area, along with cold air filtering in. in san francisco, we have seen the showers. it is getting the road ways wet just enough to get slick out there. here is the latest storm system, the cold front and associated low pressure in the pisk. it will advance quickly over the next 24 hours so that by thursday, all we are left with is the dome of air sitting across the bay area. that is going to give us some of the chilliest air. not only this season, but as we said yesterday of the past 12 months. we will also look at a chance at isolated showers and those low snow levels. let's get to the rainfall. we are not expecting too much. as we head throughout tonight, spotty showers expected and here is when we get in the chance of low snow. by 6:00 a.m. tomorrow, you can see the coverage of rain is not very widespread, at the coast line, and the peninsula, we will see light to moderate areas of rain. that is where we may have the best chance to get low snow

flakes. overall rainfall totals not impressive. so, once again, a lot of you may be hoping for a day out there on the skis and on the valley floor, not going to happen. but at 1,000 feet and above, we could get a dusting of snow. right up against the immediate coast line, there are the locations. as far as tonight goes, temperatures in the upper 20s, it will be slick and slippery, and maybe black ice, 32 in los gatos and 34 in livermore. 3-day forecast. temperatures struggling to get out of the 40s on thursday. clearing on friday and saturday, then as we head throughout sunday, we are looking at a slight chance of showers coming our way. so, get the layers, you need the, you know, several lairs -- several layers, we are talking three or four, it really does work, it works to trap the meet next to your body. layer it up tomorrow morning. all right? making sure nobody -- >> more layers, i'm in. >> making sure all of you are
